CDRA's Action on Planning
Some applications the CDRA has objected to recently:
- Liquor licencing hours for Sainsbury's Convenience Store
- Illuminated totem sign on M25 (Cobham MSA)
- Demolition of Elmcroft, Tilt Road & new house on site
- Alterations to Leigh Hill Farm House (Grade II Listed)
- Cycle Exercise Studio at 15a Church Street
- 2 blocks comprising 6 flats behind 26-38a High Street
- Temporary classrooms & change of use to school on Police Station site
- Removal of Sycamore tree at rear of 49 High Street
- Retrospective planning application at Chasemore Farm
- Application for gasification plant in Redhill Road, Cobham

Latest pre-submission consultations the CDRA has participated in:
- On going meetings of interested parties to discuss the proposals for the Cedar Road site, including internal design of the Hub building.
CDRA representatives regularly attend Elmbridge Planning Meetings as spectators and our Planning Officer has spoken at West Area Planning Committee Meetings on behalf of residents against a planning application.
Our representatives attend the Elmbridge Planning Services User Group where recent topics have ranged from giving our views on what is good and bad about the Planning Department's Service to hearing about the new Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) on buildings and extensions.
CDRA representatives have attended workshops held by Elmbridge County Council to contribute to the development of the latest planning policies and framework.
