  1. COMMUNITY RECYCLING CENTRES CONSULTATION

    Surrey County Council is consulting on proposals for further cutbacks in the recycling service including 5-day opening for Recycling Centres & ending the free daily allowance of non-houshold waste. Complete the survey by 7 August. (Jul 2017)

  2. NHS111 & GP OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE

    The NHS wants to hear your views and experiences of the current 111 and GP out-of-hours services. A new combined service is being planned. Fill in the online survey or pick up a form at Cobham Cedar Centre.  (Jul 2017

  3. BUS SERVICES

    As a result of the Surrey County Council tendering process, from 2 Sept Stagecoach will retain the 715 Guildford/Kingston service. Repton's Coaches will take over the 513 Downside/Kingston service.  There will be no changes to routing. (Jul 2017)  

  4. MEALS ON WHEELS SERVICE

    The Cobham Centre for the Community on Oakdene Road is experiencing a high demand for Meals on Wheels volunteers. This service delivers more than a meal as it is also a wellbeing check and a friendly face. About Cobham & Downside Residents' Association

CDRA is a voluntary, non-political organisation working on behalf of the residents of Cobham and Downside. The aim of the association is to ensure that residents have a strong meaningful voice on matters that have an impact on their community.

Having campaigned on major issues in the past our current and future intention is to ensure that Cobham and Downside remains intact for future generations. Specifically we address matters relating to:

There are many more aspects of local society on which we all have opinions - all matters that affect the local community receive our attention.
